– Putting You on the Write Path for Your Life –

Home

Welcome to Dream Write Design, where women come to authentically tell their stories and get them published. I believe it is never too late to find your voice and pursue your dream of writing so that you can share it with the world.

Whether you’re ready to write your memoir and preserve your journey for generations to come, or you’re looking to breathe new life into a previously published book and give it the platform it truly deserves—this is your space.

At Dream Write Design, I also support female entrepreneurs who want to turn their lived experiences and expertise into powerful books that not only inspire but also position them as the go-to expert in their field. Through writing coaching, personalized strategy, and publishing support, I help you move from idea to impact with clarity and confidence.

Your story matters. Whether it’s your first draft or a fresh relaunch, let’s design the dream, write the truth, and share it with the world—together.

Coaching Methodology: Writing from a place of JOY

In 2021 I published a book called  “Holding On To Joy Through Abandonment and Divorce”. This book is 12 chapters which explore the lessons I learned from 2 life experiences I had.

The first is what it was like to be abandoned by my father at a very young age. I talk about how that affected the way I handled the second life changing experience as an adult when I went through a near devastating divorce. In the end I realized that despite whatever circumstances we find ourselves in we can choose Joy.

I’ve taken the 12 chapters from my book to create a method whereby we can seriously look at where to begin now that you find yourself on a writing journey.

J – Where are you on your Journey? Without taking a serious look at this we cannot begin writing you need to do in order to create the story you want to tell.

O – What is your relationship like with Others? My grandfather had a saying: “Tell me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are.” Who are you talking to about your book? It is important  to surround ourselves by people who we not only greatly admire, but people who are raging fans of our own dreams and goals.

Y – This section is all about You. Are you really being true to your story? Do you have a habit of avoiding the things you really want to write about? I’ve saved the best for last … a true look at the underpinnings of what is driving you to write and how you can make writing not only easier, but filled with much more JOY than thought there would be on this journey!

I just finished reading your book – in 2 sittings – and am so glad I did. Some of your experiences mirror mine and your take on them has made me see/think a bit differently. Thank you for writing this and sharing. Now it’s up to me to reflect more and absorb your words and apply them. Thank you!!!

Connie Monroe and I found each other on social media and her book is what prompted me to invite her as a guest on my podcast. Her story is both heartbreaking and powerful. She is joyful by nature and her resilience through her difficult life experiences, from childhood to adulthood, is what brought her through each time. Each chapter begins with a quote which is relevant tot the experience she shares. We each have a different story but so much of how we struggle through and the things we feel are much the same. Your story may be different than Connie’s, but if you have experienced any struggle in your life, you are sure to receive many blessings from this book.
